Introducing the artwork born from YUCa’s Tea

We collaborated with artist Taro. While running a specialty coffee shop in Tokyo on an irregular basis, Taro is also a painter. He has a unique style, drawing inspiration from the flavors of drinks to create abstract paintings.

Introducing abstract paintings inspired by the flavors of Green Tea (Chiran tea | Kagoshima Prefecture) and Roasted Green Tea (Tosa tea | Kochi Prefecture). Expressing Japanese tea through art is a fresh and free approach, and we believe it aligns perfectly with the world of YUCa’s Tea.

These artworks are on permanent display at YUCa’s Japanese Cooking, the cooking studio of culinary artist YUCa. Beautiful crystallized accessories, born from the abstract paintings, are also available for in-person purchase only. We plan to offer opportunities to view the actual pieces in the future. Once a public open day for the cooking studio, featuring a tasting event of YUCa’s Tea, is scheduled, we will announce it on this website and Instagram.
